St. Moritz is located at 1,856 metres altitude in the Engadine on the southern side of the Alps. Three different cultural regions converge here thanks to the Romansch language, the proximity to Italy and the fact that the majority of the local population are German speakin. This contributes to the unique charm of St. Moritz. The Upper Engadine boasts the highest peaks in the eastern Alps, crowned by the only four-thousand-metre summit, the Piz Bernina (4,049 m).
The OVAVERVA Pool, Spa & Sports Centre St. Moritz is located in St. Moritz Bad at a historical site: it’s where the Mauritius spring originated thousands of years ago and which has been used by the Celts for healing as early as the Bronze Age. In the immediate surroundings guests find copious options for accommodation and restaurants as well as Lake St. Moritz, entry points to the cross-contry skiing tracks, hiking trails and the Signal mountain railways, which transports winter sports enthusiasts and hikers to the Corviglia skiing/hiking area.
